Upstream:Morehead Mill

Up Richland Creek and then up Hunting Creek:Donnell Mill

Hardy Mill

The mill pond is still evident on the Reedy Fork, just upstream of US 29 in Guilford County. Johnson (1895) lists the names Foultz and Gray & Lindsay for this mill.

I think this mill may have been owned by the Dick family at the time of the revolution per the Guilford Historical Map (Hughes). Hughes shows the Dick Mill with the date 1800. Perhaps there was no mill here during the Revolution, which would explain why Gen. Greene stationed himself at the Boyd Mill instead of this one at that time.
